Description
It is a purely domestic high-grade wood “Akita cedar” * kumiko * lantern.
It is a lantern made by “Kumiko work” used for high-class fittings. Mitsukude Kumiko, which is the tint block of kumiko work, is fitted with hemp leaves, which is an ancient Japanese pattern, and the pattern changes depending on the surface.
The technique is a first-class art with a novel design that allows you to enjoy Kumiko not only as a flat surface but also as a three-dimensional object. The light that leaks from there creates an even more mysterious space.
In the “Hyaku-nen no Monogatari” project in Niigata Prefecture, Ominato Fumiyoshi Shoten was completed with the advice of Masayuki Kurokawa, who comprehensively produces a wide range of fields from architecture to products.
