Description

Yoake Takayasu Kiga
Takayasu Kiga

Simple geometric patterns for an intelligent look.
This is a tenugui (hand towel) made by artisanal techniques, in which the cloth is wrapped and bound with string and dyed in such a way as to intentionally leave dye residue and unevenness.
Tatami shibori is a dyeing technique in which the cloth is folded regularly and then tightened with thread.
You can use it as a handkerchief or put it in your favorite frame and enjoy it as an interior decoration.
You can use it as a handkerchief or put it in your favorite frame for interior decoration.
Since it is handmade, each piece is dyed differently.
Please enjoy the “oozing” and “blurring” that occurs during the dyeing process.
