The “Kimekomi Photo Frame” made by the technique of the Edo Kimekomi doll, which is famous for its festival dolls, is a gorgeous gem with Nishijin-ori wood grain.
Kimekomi dolls are made by embedding cloth in a groove carved into a mold called Toso.
The photo frame uses the same technique, and silver fits into the interior with a cool image.
The frame is finished with Aizu lacquer, giving it a luxurious feel.
