Mataro Kanabayashi This is a doll from the “Matarobi” series, which is so compact that it can fit in the palm of your hand. The aim was to create dolls that are simple and compact, yet show the ultimate in stylized beauty.
The male dolls are dressed in green like young leaves, and the female dolls are dressed in pink like flowers, reminiscent of spring scenery when they stand together.

The base is thin and does not take up much space, but the area where the Oh-oh-oh sits is raised one level to create depth in the set.
