Tatami mats made of Yanagawa-ori, a speciality of Yanagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, are finished using techniques inherited from four generations of tatamiya (tatami mat makers).
Particular attention was paid to the finishing of the warp threads that accentuate the coaster.
The colorful and modern design of the Yanagawa-ori fits well with a modern table.
