At the age of 29, I apprenticed myself to a master craftsman who was a living national treasure, and I have been making tubs ever since.
What is particularly noteworthy is the beauty of the wood grain.
I also take great care to ensure that when the wood shrinks in the future, there will be no distortion.
One of the characteristics of Kyoto’s tubs is the elegance of the slightly rounded surface.
