We captured the soft scenery offered by the unique Hokuriku weather and the sky and sea facing the Japan Sea in Obama City, Fukui Prefecture, home to Hashikura Matsukan.
Made from oak wood with beautiful grain and a subdued color palette. The octagonal shape fits comfortably in the hand, and the fine-grained texture provides a non-slip grip, ensuring ease of use.
The included chopstick rest is a “Sandstone Chopstick Rest” crafted by Saikai Toki in Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture, suitable for both Japanese and Western cuisine.
