Kumiko is a craft that involves the joining of pieces of wood without using nails or metal fittings. The disciplined and continuous pattern and the fragrance of the wood calm the senses.
The motif of hemp leaves, which grow fast and straight and have a strong vitality, is considered a pattern of good luck.
Using high quality Japanese cypress from Kyoto, craftsmen with reliable skills have carefully and wholeheartedly created each piece.
