These sturdy and supple scarves are made by Kyoto craftsmen using thinly cut and twisted Kurotani Washi paper and silk yarns, woven with the Tango Chirimen technique.
Kurotani Washi, which has a history of over 800 years, is carefully finished one by one by skilled craftsmen using traditional handmade techniques.
This is a “nurturing stole” that becomes more familiar with the skin the longer it is used, meaning you can enjoy the way it changes over time.
The warm, raw-colored stole is suitable for both formal and casual wear, regardless of gender.
This product is recommended for coordinating with graduation and entrance ceremonies and for birthday celebrations.
