The original “Gorohachi” chawan bowl created by Gorohachi Takahara, a potter active in Hizen during the Edo period, is a slightly oversized rice bowl.
It is a bowl that can be used not only for rice, but also for tea, side dishes, sake, and many other purposes.
This “568” (“gorohachi”) bowl can be used freely as a bowl for desserts, small dishes, etc.
