This teacup features chrysanthemums, which have been revered as a sacred flower since ancient times.
The entire teacup is beautifully carved without gaps by laser processing, just like the advanced technique used to perfectly match the pattern of furisode (long-sleeved kimono).
The coloring is applied in layers by hand by skilled craftsmen.
Wood has low thermal conductivity, so it is easy to hold even when filled with hot beverages, and the three-dimensional pattern makes it non-slip.
